These intermediate-level combos typically feature spins, climbs, sits, inverts, genies, and other pole shapes, along with a little floorwork that can be done on an outdoor stage pole. You can, of course, also try them out on an indoor pole!

This combo features a simplified and a more advanced version. Both combos end with an open allegra or closed allegra, if you prefer. 

Simple Combo: Reiko split mount to thread outside foot through below the arms on the pole, drop the bottom leg around the pole, transition to inside leg hang and then to Allegra.

Advanced Version: Reiko split mount to hook the outside leg over the hands, change the top hand to twisted grip, push overhead with the outside hand and rotate shoulder through to the other side of the pole to end in inside leg hang while externally rotating the thoracic spine (aka opening the chest away from the pole). From there crunch up to wrap the inside arm behind the inside leg and extend to Allegra.

This combo features a sit to hello boy to thread through to outside leg hook to drop the bottom leg around to Jamila to slide down to inside leg hang to flip over to superman.

These intermediate-level combos typically feature spins, climbs, sits, inverts, genies, and other pole shapes, along with a little floorwork that can be done on an outdoor stage pole. You can, of course, also try them out on an indoor pole!

This combo features a sailboat (side climb), spinning rotation to invert, to genie, to a genie variation, to another genie variation, to a sit, and then hip tilt to a sit on the other side, before dropping to the base of the pole for some brief floor work.

This combo features a forward chair spin variation with an elbow grip, a shoulder stand variation and double knee hang from the ground, an invert and sheina split, a variation from genie and a  transition down to remi sit.

Combo 1 features a chair spin, sit, hug shape, invert and elbow split, and transition to a floor jade variation.

A warm up focusing on strength and mobility exercises to help you get into the ballerina shape, followed by a breakdown and progressions for an aerial ballerina flow. Progressions include inversions and the base flow includes a sit, plus shapes from the sit.

The Flow Sequence:

Genie: Lock in a strong knee hook to create your solid foundation.
Martini: Pivot from your Genie into a striking, extended Martini line.
Remi Sit: Transition back through Genie to slide into a secure Remi Sit.

Plus optional entries and an exit.

Remember to focus on active core engagement during the transitions.

This combo features a batwing to figure-4 shape, to leg hang, to torso twist, to flatline inside leg hang variation to thread through to thigh hold, to superman/superhero variation to floor.

Intermediate Combo 5: Batwing, torso twist, and threadthrough plus variations

In this 45 minute, flexibility and conditioning class we will stretch front and middle splits and our back on the mat before moving to the pole to condition our arms and abs for climbs and inverts, etc.
