About
Elevated Standing Calf Raise.
This variation involves:
Standing with the balls of your feet on a weight plate or step.
Lowering your heels below the level of the plate to get a full stretch in the calves.
Rising up onto your toes as high as possible, then lowering under control.
It primarily works:
Gastrocnemius (the larger calf muscle)
Soleus (especially if you slightly bend your knees)
For the best results:
Keep your movement slow and controlled.
Pause briefly at the top of each rep.
Lower your heels fully to maximize the stretch.
Hold onto a wall or machine for balance if needed.
