## SilverSneakers® Classic: Fitness with the Pastor
**Focus:** Total-Body Functional Strength, Range of Motion, and Balance
**Duration:** 50 Minutes
**Level:** Beginner / Accessible to All Levels
**Equipment Required:** A sturdy chair (with no wheels) and a pair of light dumbbells or handheld weights.
Welcome to our signature community group fitness session! This official SilverSneakers® Classic format is designed to increase muscle strength, improve your daily range of motion, and sharpen your balance mechanics for active, independent living.
### What We Will Do Together:
* **Seated & Standing Strength:** Alternating between supportive chair exercises and optional standing sequences using light weights or resistance.
* **Functional Mobility:** Gentle stretches and joint-lubrication movements to make everyday actions (like reaching, bending, and turning) easier and pain-free.
* **Community Connection:** A welcoming, encouraging atmosphere led by Pastor David Hull-Frye, CPT.
