About
Hi guys! As you found out already, I'm a very big fan of isometric workouts. Here is another static holds routine, this time with more focus on balance with some exercises inspired from Yoga moves. Isometric exercises help maintain strength and are ideal when you have any knee or ankles injuries, limited workout space or just want to make a change in your fitness routine and go easy on your neighbours. They are considered to be a very safe type of exercise involving body-weight only and giving you full control on the resistance. A full body isometric workout involves a static position, where you are tensing the muscles without moving your joints. With isometric exercises, the affected joint doesn't move and the muscle doesn't noticeably change length. Balancing is a fundamental aspect of any movement we perform. Indeed when standing on two feet, we are maintaining balance, even if we're not consciously aware of it.
